Amazing Final Fantasy 7 Metal Covers

A guitarist who simply goes by the name of Bulb (aka Misha Mansoor, from band Periphery) and Mark Holcomb (of Haunted Shores) did an amazing cover of 3 FF7 classic tracks. The prelude, of course!, the bomb fare, and the victory fanfare. Now i play guitar myself, which you can check out HERE, and specialize in metal covers, but these guys took it to the next level.

Normally rap isn't to my liking, as you can tell by my post choices. :D

But this one gets a mention. Its done by 8bitduane, and very well done indeed. The music actually combines electronic beats and some good guitar parts in there. The last stage remix is my fav. :D

Its been a while since i updated this blog, and i figured its about time. I was searching around the ol' youtubes when i came accross this fricken incredibly bad ass cover of the castle theme from the NES Super Mario Bros. I can't really describe it any other way than its like mario meets death metal!! :D

Michael Jaskson RIP Man

I know everyone at one time or another has made or at least a joke regarding this legendary man, but its all done in respect. Whether you agree or disagree with any of the things he's done over the years, good or bad, he's still an amazing musician who constantly wowed us all with hit after hit.

Here's an awesome power metal remix of I Kissed A Girl done by axe427. It gave me a bunch of ideas and i kinda wonder why i haven't done anything like this yet?!? Anyways, its a very well done remix and his guitar skills are very exceptional. ENJOY!!

Here's my finished Temple theme remix from Legend OF Zelda 2 from the NES. I actually recorded all the guitars, bass, and drums almost a year ago but didn't get around to polishing up til about a week ago. I really love the way it came out and its one of my fav remixes so far. ENJOY!!
